PYLON
An electricity pylon is a steel lattice tower designed and installed to support overhead power cables.
Have you ever been on a train journey, looked out of the window and seen all of the different types of electricity pylons? I have, and I was so intrigued at the different range of structures that I responded by documenting them in this little artist book.
The book includes the new cylindrical shaped pylons networking the nuclear power station at Hinkley Point (near Bridgwater) to the National Grid.
Size: 105 x 145mm - 24 pages (internal).
Binding: wire stitch (two)
Each book is individually numbered (by hand).

Please note - this artist book is not about the other Pylons:
(A) Pylon - a support tower structure for suspension bridges or highways.
(B) Pylon - an orange marker designating a corner of an American football end zone.
(C) Aircraft pylon - an external mount for equipment such as engines.
